BIBLE QUIZ RETREAT 2007
Date: May 25th to 28th. (Register by May 4) Location: Camp Mechuanna, in Winthop ME. Cost: $50.00 per quizzer. Material: Acts 1-28 (NIV). Style: Free Style (similar to World Style)
What do you get when you combine the fun of a Bible Quiz Tournament with the Relaxation of a retreat? The answer is simple: THE 2007 BIBLE QUIZ RETREAT.
As usual, our retreat will be held at Camp Mechuanna in Winthrop Me, the site of Maine District Kickoff Quiz and home of the 4 previous Quiz Retreats. It is open to quizzers of all experience levels, denominations, ages and interests. Anyone can quiz, from the oldest coach to the littlest future quizzer. Not only will you quiz, but you will have multiple opportunities for worship, devotions, and relaxation. So bring your scripture portion and bible, but also bring your playing cards, bathing suit, football and sense of humor.
Friday night starts with a mix up quiz to help you get to know everyone at the retreat, but this year, the mix up quiz will be done “Tag Team”. This promises to be an interesting experience.
Saturday night will feature a “Gong Show” which is basically our normal “talent” (and if you been you know why talent is in quotes) show with a twist.
Sunday Night as always will feature testimonies around the fire.
Students who wish to participate in worship, and anyone wishing to officiate should contact Charlie directly.
